Gunmen Kill Naval Officer In Kogi

Unknown gunmen have shot dead two persons, including a naval officer, on Okene-Lokoja road in Kogi state. Confirming the incident, Ayuba Ede, the state commissioner of police, said the officer and a woman were travelling in a Toyota Sienna car when they were shot at around 6 pm. The police commissioner told NAN that the naval officer was in uniform and the woman was in mufti.
