In early 2013, Logic appeared in the XXL version, which was included as part of the annual “Top 10 Modern Students” list for publication, alongside artists Travis Scott, Trinidad James, Daisy Wright, Action Bronson, Joy Badas, Angel Haze, Ab-Soul , Chief Keef, Kirko Bangz and Schoolboy Q. Logic completed their first European tour in March 2013 and confirmed that their fourth music tape, Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever, would be released on May 7. He announced his second national tour as the headline, “Welcome to Tour Forever” for a two-month period to promote the project. The mix tape was a hit, and critics praised the project, describing it as a “free album”, and citing the rapid growth of the rapper and his ability to adapt. The track bar has received over 900,000 downloads on DatPiff since its release.
On April 15, Logic was announced to sign with Def Jam Recordings, along with Def Jam No I.D. Act as executive producer for their first album. Logic issued a public statement regarding the signature, saying: “I’m excited about taking the next step in my career. It’s unbelievable that Def Jam [Records] and the Visionary Music Group work together, and the opportunity to collaborate [without an ID”] is invaluable. I am very honored to be part of the most popular hip-hop signs ever. The logic toured Dev Game’s big partner Sean Kid Cudi and Tyler, creator of “The Cud Life” Tour 2013, throughout the fall of the year.
